Where to Stay in Com and Jaco (Lautém)
The far east of Timor-Leste has no hotels in the usual sense, just family-run guesthouses on the beach at Com and a community guesthouse at Valu Beach opposite Jaco Island. Rooms are basic, often with fans and shared bathrooms, though some now have air conditioning.
